We stayed at The Grand Stately Crathorne Hall Hotel, a historic building built in 1906 with captivating views of the Leven Valley on the edge of the Yorkshire moors. This unique blend of historic features and contemporary luxury makes it an ideal retreat for those seeking a traditional countryside escape with added comfort. It appeals to those who appreciate classic grandeur. The hotel offers luxurious guest experiences delivered with warmth, passion and integrity. It is a wonderful place to stay, situated in beautiful surroundings. The staff provided exceptional service, ensuring a wonderful experience in a magnificent building. We can’t wait to return to this friendly relaxed and attentive establishment where traditional hotel service meets old-school charm.

My friend and I came for afternoon tea today as a celebration and it was wonderful. The service we received from Bewoh was second to none! She’s a credit to Crathorne Hall, going above and beyond to make our little celebration very special and memorable (in the best kind of way). Afternoon Tea was beautiful and our cups of tea were always full. The setting was truly magical at Christmas. Thank you so much

What an incredible hotel and experience! We’ve stayed in hotels across the world and this is easily the best we’ve stayed in. Absolutely spotlessly clean and beautifully well appointed. However what sets this little gem apart from the rest is the service. The team here are something else. We were also upgraded which was a real treat. We need to mention Olivia both on reception and housekeeping who couldn’t have done enough for us and Gilmar who managed our dining experience. Who demonstrated old school style, elegance and impeccable service, creating an atmosphere to dine in that was absolutely faultless. A step back in time. The food for breakfast and room service, delicious. The food at dinner, mind blowingly good. We both feel like we’ve had an enchanted weekend. Thank you so much. We will be returning!

We went here today for afternoon tea and it was lovely. Gloria served us and was so friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Sandwiches tasted fresh and cakes and scones with jam and cream were very delicious. Really impressed and would consider going again.

My Mum and I stayed for Christmas 2025. What an utterly wonderful and unforgettable experience. We really felt like we were part of a large family in stunning surroundings (Downton Abbey vibes) Food was amazing and nothing too Much trouble for anyone member of staff. A huge thank you to Christa, Gloria, Lewis for making our stay just fabulous. However thank you to each member of staff too!

Having spent two beautiful, peaceful days at Cranthorne Hall I would highly recommend this hotel. It is surrounded by woodlands full of wildlife from various species of birds to a beautiful tiny weasel. A mammal seldom seen. The service and food on offer was excellent. Martin and Gloria added an extra cheer to the start of the day as they served breakfast..

We spent the weekend here and ended up getting engaged. The staff went overboard with everything and were such a brilliant help. They were all so lovely and accommodating, especially Krista, who played a big role in our engagement. We can’t thank you all enough and can’t wait to return!

We recently had a brief weekend stay here while going to a family anniversary nearby. The thing that makes a hotel stay relaxed and enjoyable are the staff members. Emma, Becca, Martin, Allen, and the Night Porter (sorry didn't get your name) were so friendly and helpful in general and especially in accommodating our last minute dog complications. It's a shame we couldn't have stayed longer.
